JB The Super Bass (JBザ・スーパーバス?)[4] is a Super Famicom video game that is about the sport of fishing.

Summary

Starting out from a pier at a generic fishing village in Japan, the player departs on his fishing vessel and must catch as many fish as possible before the time reaches 5:00 P.M..[2] The temperature (in Celsius) is used to determine the air temperature and most text uses the Japanese language.[2] Players even have to drive their boat underneath road bridges in order to progress to the good fishing areas.[2] Like the title of the game says, the main target of the game is bass.

This game was sponsored by the Nippon Bass Club chapters in Ibaragi, Hyogo, Yamanashi, Biwako Konan, Fukuoka, and the remaining chapters in Japan.[3]
